Great quality, slightly tricky install

The build quality is excellent and the machining is precise. Just be careful when installing; because it is hardened steel, you need to ensure your hotend block is hot enough to avoid stripping threads, but overall a solid upgrade.

Lasts much longer than brass

Consistent flow rate

A: The primary benefit is durability against abrasion. While the precision machining ensures good flow which aids bridging, the material change itself does not inherently improve thermal conductivity for bridging like a copper-coated nozzle might. It maintains standard performance levels with added longevity.

Q: What is the exact hardness rating of the steel used?

A: The nozzle is made from hardened steel treated to withstand abrasive filaments like carbon fiber and glass-filled polymers. Specific Rockwell hardness ratings are proprietary, but it is significantly harder than standard brass nozzles.
