Great performance, minor calibration needed
The heat distribution is excellent and allows for very high speed printing without clogging. I did have to re-run the flow rate calibration in the slicer, but once done, the quality is superb.

Solid build quality
The machining on the heater block is precise. It fits snugly into the print head carriage. I appreciate that it comes with high-quality thermal paste already applied to the thermistor slot.

No more clogs!
I was constantly clogging my stock nozzle with silk PLA. This upgraded V6 hotend runs much cooler at the heatsink and I haven't had a single heat creep issue since installing it.

Perfect upgrade for carbon fiber prints
I switched to this hotend specifically for printing CF-PLA and it handles the abrasion perfectly. The hardened steel nozzle shows no wear after 2kg of filament. Installation on my Bambu P1P was straightforward.

Good value for money
For the price, this is a fantastic alternative to OEM parts. It reaches temperature slightly faster than my old unit. The only reason for 4 stars is the fan cable was a bit short for my custom rig.

Essential for high-temp materials
Printing ABS and ASA has never been more consistent. The temperature stability is impressive even when the part cooling fan is running at 100%. Highly recommended for engineering filaments.
Q: Is this compatible with the Bambu Lab X1 Carbon?
A: Yes, this hotend is fully compatible with the X1 Carbon, X1E, P1P, and P1S models. It uses the standard connection interface for these machines.
Q: Can I use this with regular PLA or only abrasive filaments?
A: You can absolutely use this with regular PLA, PETG, and TPU. While it is designed to handle abrasive materials like Carbon Fiber, it works excellently with all standard filaments too.
Q: Do I need to update my printer firmware after installation?
A: No firmware update is required. The device is plug-and-play. However, we strongly suggest performing a flow rate calibration and checking your Z-offset after swapping the hotend.
Q: What is the maximum safe operating temperature?
A: The hotend is rated for continuous operation up to 300°C. We recommend staying below 280°C for extended prints to maximize the lifespan of the heater cartridge and thermistor.
Q: Does this come with a 0.2mm nozzle option?
A: The package includes a standard 0.4mm hardened steel nozzle. However, the hotend body accepts any standard M6 threaded V6 nozzle, so you can purchase 0.2mm or 0.6mm nozzles separately.
