Solid component
Works exactly as advertised. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the price point, but considering the quality of the machined parts, it feels justified. Prints are crisp and detailed.

Perfect for abrasive filaments
I switched to this hardened steel hotend specifically for printing carbon fiber nylon, and it has been flawless. No wear on the nozzle after 2kg of print time. The upgrade process was straightforward following the official guide.

Essential upgrade for X1C owners
If you plan on printing anything other than basic PLA, get this. The detachable design makes swapping nozzles incredibly fast compared to the stock version. Temperature stability is spot on even at 280°C.

No more cold pulls needed
Upgraded our entire fleet of P1Ps with these. The reduction in maintenance time is significant. We can run aggressive abrasives without worrying about nozzle erosion. Excellent build quality.

Great performance, slightly tricky install
The print quality at high temperatures is excellent. I had a little trouble aligning the thermistor during installation, but once seated correctly, it maintains temperature very accurately. Highly recommend for advanced materials.
Q: Does this come with a new silicone sock?
A: Yes, the package includes one new high-temperature silicone sock designed to fit the upgraded heating block.
Q: Do I need to update the printer firmware before installing?
A: While not strictly mandatory, we highly recommend updating to the latest firmware version to ensure optimal thermal control algorithms work with the new sensor profile.
Q: Is this hotend compatible with the original Bambu Lab X1 non-Carbon edition?
A: Yes, the Extruder 3.0 Hotend is fully compatible with the X1, X1C, X1E, P1P, and P1S models.
