Good quality, slightly tight tolerance
The stainless steel feels very durable. They were a bit tight going into the heater block at first, but after a heat cycle, they seated perfectly. No leaks so far.

Perfect fit for my Ender 3 upgrade
These heat breaks are exactly what I needed. The threading is precise, and they installed without any cross-threading issues. My prints have been much more consistent since swapping out the old brass ones.

Easy to install for beginners
I was worried about installing these myself, but the instructions included in the seller's message were clear. They fit my Makerbot-style clone perfectly. Highly recommend for upgrades.

Solved my clogging issues
I was experiencing frequent clogs with my previous setup. These full-thread heat breaks provide better thermal isolation, and I haven't had a single jam in two weeks of heavy printing.

Great value pack
Getting five in a pack is great because these are small parts that are easy to lose or damage during assembly. The quality is consistent across all units in the box.

Solid construction
The machining looks clean under a loupe. The PTFE tube insertion depth is standard. Only giving 4 stars because shipping took a little longer than expected, but the product itself is top-notch.
Q: Do I need to apply thermal paste during installation?
A: While not strictly mandatory, applying a small amount of high-temperature thermal paste to the threads can improve heat transfer and prevent seizing in the future.
Q: Can these be used with abrasive filaments like Carbon Fiber?
A: Since the heat break itself is stainless steel, it resists abrasion well. However, please ensure your nozzle is also hardened steel if printing abrasive materials to prevent wear on the tip.
Q: What is the maximum temperature these can withstand continuously?
A: These stainless steel heat breaks are designed to operate continuously at temperatures up to 260°C, which covers PLA, PETG, and ABS filaments.
Q: Are these compatible with the Creality Ender 3 V2 stock hotend?
A: Yes, these M6x30mm full-thread heat breaks are fully compatible with the Ender 3 V2 stock hotend and most MK8 style extruders.
Q: Is the inner hole pre-lined with PTFE or is it bare metal?
A: The upper section of the inner bore is lined with a PTFE tube guide to ensure smooth filament feeding, while the lower section is bare metal for the melt zone.
