Perfect upgrade for my S1 Pro
The bimetallic throat tube makes a huge difference in heat creep prevention. Installation was straightforward with the included instructions. My prints are much cleaner now.

Good quality, tight fit
The aluminum block feels very sturdy. The fit was slightly tight on the heater cartridge, but once installed, it works perfectly. Great value for the price.

Great for PETG printing

Solid performance
Works exactly as described. The only reason for 4 stars is that the thermal paste wasn't included, so make sure you have some on hand before starting.

Solved my clogging issues

A: No, this kit is specifically designed for the Ender 3 S1 and S1 Pro models due to differences in the extruder assembly and mounting points.
Q: How difficult is the installation for a beginner?
A: If you have basic tools and follow our video guide, it is moderately easy. We recommend watching the tutorial on our support page before attempting the swap.
Q: Does this come with a silicone sock?
A: This specific DIY set includes the hotend assembly, heater block, and throat tube, but the silicone sock is sold separately.
Q: What is the advantage of the copper-plated bimetallic tube?
A: The bimetallic design combines the heat conductivity of copper with the durability of steel, significantly reducing heat creep and preventing filament jams during long prints.
Q: Can I use this with abrasive filaments like Carbon Fiber?
A: While the throat tube is durable, the standard nozzle included is brass. For abrasive filaments, we recommend purchasing a hardened steel nozzle separately to attach to this block.
