Good quality, tight fit
The aluminum block feels very sturdy. The fit was slightly tight on the heater cartridge, but once installed, it works perfectly. Great value for the price.

Great for PETG printing
I switched to PETG filament and needed a better hotend setup. This kit handles the higher temperatures without any issues. Highly recommended for S1 owners.

Solid performance
Works exactly as described. The only reason for 4 stars is that the thermal paste wasn't included, so make sure you have some on hand before starting.

Solved my clogging issues
I was experiencing frequent clogs with the stock hotend. This kit completely resolved the issue. The copper plating seems to distribute heat very evenly.

Essential spare part
Bought this as a backup and ended up using it immediately after damaging my original nozzle. High-quality materials and precise machining.
Q: Is this compatible with the original Ender 3 V2?
A: No, this kit is specifically designed for the Ender 3 S1 and S1 Pro models due to differences in the extruder assembly and mounting points.
Q: How difficult is the installation for a beginner?
A: If you have basic tools and follow our video guide, it is moderately easy. We recommend watching the tutorial on our support page before attempting the swap.
Q: Does this come with a silicone sock?
A: This specific DIY set includes the hotend assembly, heater block, and throat tube, but the silicone sock is sold separately.
Q: What is the advantage of the copper-plated bimetallic tube?
A: The bimetallic design combines the heat conductivity of copper with the durability of steel, significantly reducing heat creep and preventing filament jams during long prints.
Q: Can I use this with abrasive filaments like Carbon Fiber?
A: While the throat tube is durable, the standard nozzle included is brass. For abrasive filaments, we recommend purchasing a hardened steel nozzle separately to attach to this block.
