Solid performance
Does exactly what it says on the tin. The thermal properties are superior to stock parts. Only giving 4 stars because the price is a bit steep, but you get what you pay for in terms of longevity.

Solved my clogging issues

Perfect for high-temp printing
This titanium throat tube is a game changer for my Voron 2.4. I switched from printing PLA to ABS and PETG, and the heat creep issues are completely gone. The red copper coating seems to help with thermal distribution.

Best investment for my rig

Great quality, tricky installation
The build quality is excellent and feels very durable. Installation required a bit of patience to get the threading aligned perfectly with the heater block, but once installed, it works flawlessly.

Essential upgrade for E3D V6
If you are running an E3D V6 clone or genuine hotend, this is a must-have. The wear resistance is noticeable compared to standard brass tubes, especially when printing with abrasive filaments like Carbon Fiber PLA.
Q: Is this compatible with the Creality CR-10 stock hotend?
A: This tube is specifically designed for E3D V6 style hotends and Voron DIY builds. It may not fit the stock Creality hotend without significant modification to the heater block and heatsink.
Q: How often should I replace this tube?
A: Titanium alloy is highly wear-resistant. Unlike brass tubes that degrade quickly with abrasive filaments, this tube can last for hundreds of printing hours. Replace it only if you notice physical damage or persistent flow issues.
Q: Can this handle PEEK or PEI filaments?
A: While the titanium alloy can withstand high temperatures, successful printing of PEEK or PEI also depends on your heater cartridge power and overall enclosure temperature. This tube supports the thermal requirements, but ensure your whole system is rated for >400°C if attempting those materials.
Q: Does this come with a new silicone sock?
A: No, this package includes only the titanium alloy throat tube and a small sample of thermal compound. Silicone socks must be purchased separately.
Q: What is the benefit of the red copper plating?
A: The red copper layer enhances thermal conductivity between the heatsink and the throat tube, helping to prevent heat creep by efficiently pulling heat away from the melt zone.
