Solved my heating issues

Perfect fit for my Sidewinder X1
This kit was exactly what I needed to upgrade my old hotend. The silicone sleeve fits snugly and keeps the heat consistent. Installation took about 20 minutes.

Great spare parts kit
I bought this as a backup kit, but ended up installing it right away. The throat tube is machined well and prevents clogs better than the original.

Works but tight fit
The components work fine, but the silicone sleeve was very difficult to slide over the heater block. Had to be careful not to tear it. Once on, it works great.

Essential upgrade
If you own a Sidewinder Genius, get this. The improved insulation helps with printing ABS and ASA by maintaining a stable hotend temperature.

Good value bundle
The parts are decent quality for the price. The thermistor reads accurately compared to my old one. Only giving 4 stars because the instructions could be clearer.
Q: Do I need to recalibrate my PID settings after installation?
A: It is highly recommended to run a PID autotune cycle after replacing the heater and thermistor to ensure optimal temperature stability.
Q: What is the resistance value of the included thermistor?
A: The included thermistor is an NTC 100K type, which is the standard specification for Artillery Sidewinder printers.
Q: Can I use this with PLA filament only?
A: Absolutely. While this kit is excellent for high-temperature filaments like ABS or PETG due to better insulation, it works perfectly for PLA printing as well.
Q: Does the package include the brass nozzle itself?
A: No, this kit includes the throat tube, heater, thermistor, and silicone sleeve. The brass nozzle is sold separately or may be reused from your current setup if in good condition.
