Good insulation, slight odor initially
The thermal protection is excellent, and my prints seem more consistent with high-temperature filaments like ABS. There was a slight rubber smell during the first few prints, but it dissipated quickly.

Essential accessory for high-temp printing
If you are printing engineering materials, this is a must-have. It keeps the heat concentrated in the nozzle and protects nearby components. The quality of the silicone feels durable.

Perfect fit for my P1S
This silicone cover fits snugly on my Bambu Lab P1S hotend. It significantly reduces the ambient temperature around the print head, which helps with cooling fan efficiency. Installation took less than a minute.

Solid build quality
The silicone thickness is appropriate, providing good insulation without interfering with the part cooling ducts. Deducting one star only because the color fades slightly after prolonged exposure to high heat, though functionality remains unchanged.

Great value for money
Much cheaper than buying directly from the main manufacturer but works just as well. Our office printers run cooler now, and we haven't had any heat creep issues since installing these.

Easy to install
I was worried about installing it myself, but it just snaps right on. No tools needed. It gives me peace of mind knowing the heater block is well insulated.
Q: Is this compatible with the Bambu Lab X1 Carbon?
A: Yes, this silicone cover is fully compatible with the X1, X1C, X1E, P1P, and P1S models as they share the same hotend assembly design.
Q: Can this withstand PETG and ASA printing temperatures?
A: Absolutely. The silicone is rated for temperatures up to 300°C, which comfortably covers the printing requirements for PETG, ASA, ABS, and even Polycarbonate.
Q: Does this come with a spare?
A: This specific package includes one single silicone cover. If you need spares, please consider purchasing our multi-pack option available on the store page.
Q: Do I need to remove the part cooling fan to install this?
A: No, the cover is designed to snap on over the heater block without removing the part cooling fan or any other components.
Q: Will this interfere with the automatic bed leveling sensor?
A: No, the cover is precisely molded to fit around the heater block only and does not obstruct the movement or function of the bed leveling sensor or the nozzle cleaning mechanism.
