Essential upgrade for temperature stability

Perfect for the Chiron
I bought this specifically for my Anycubic Chiron. Installation took less than a minute. The thermal insulation is noticeable, and the cooling fan doesn't blow directly on the heater block anymore.

Easy to install
As a beginner, I was worried about installing this, but it just slides right on. No modifications needed. My ABS prints seem to have better layer adhesion now.

Good fit, slight smell initially
The product works as advertised and fits the heater block snugly. There was a slight rubbery smell during the first few heats, but it dissipated quickly. Great value for the price.

Solid accessory
Does exactly what it is supposed to do. The silicone feels durable and thick enough to provide good insulation. Took off one star only because shipping took a bit longer than expected.

Great little part
Small item, big impact. My temperature readings are much more consistent now. If you own an i3 Mega or Chiron, this is a must-have cheap upgrade.
Q: Do I need to remove the fan shroud to install this?
A: In most cases, no. The sleeve is thin and flexible enough to slide under the existing fan shroud on the i3 Mega and Chiron without removal.
Q: What is the maximum temperature this silicone can handle?
A: The high-temperature resistant silicone is rated up to approximately 260°C (500°F), which covers the printing range for PLA, ABS, PETG, and Nylon.
Q: How often should I replace the silicone sleeve?
A: There is no set replacement schedule. You should only replace it if you notice signs of degradation, tearing, or if it becomes brittle over time.
Q: Will this fit the standard E3D V6 hotend if not using an Anycubic printer?
A: Yes, this sleeve is designed for E3D V6 style heater blocks, so it should fit any printer using that standard configuration, not just Anycubic models.
Q: Is this compatible with the Anycubic i3 Mega S?
