Smooth upgrade process
Upgraded my P1P without any issues. The instructions were clear, and the included silicone sock fits perfectly. Print quality on standard PLA is just as good as the original, but now I have the durability for tougher jobs.

Great quality but runs slightly hotter
The build quality is excellent and feels very robust compared to the stock brass nozzle. I did notice the PID tuning needed a slight adjustment to maintain stable temperatures at 280°C, but once calibrated, prints are perfect.

Perfect upgrade for abrasive filaments
I switched to this hardened steel hotend specifically for printing carbon fiber nylon, and it has been flawless. The installation was straightforward, taking less than 15 minutes. No clogs so far after 2kg of material.

Peace of mind
Even though I mostly print PLA, knowing I can switch to abrasive filaments without buying a whole new printer gives me peace of mind. The assembly feels premium and well-machined.

Solid performance, minor bedding in period
Works great overall. There was a brief period where the first few grams of filament had slight under-extrusion as the internal surfaces bedded in, but it stabilized quickly. Very happy with the longevity.

Essential for engineering materials
If you plan on printing anything with glass or carbon fiber, this is mandatory. The detachable design makes swapping nozzles incredibly fast. Highly recommend keeping a spare on hand.
Q: What is the maximum continuous temperature this can handle?
A: The assembly is rated for continuous operation up to 300°C, making it suitable for high-temperature engineering polymers like Polycarbonate (PC) and Nylon.
Q: Is this compatible with the Bambu Lab X1E model?
A: Yes, this Extruder Head 3.0 is fully compatible with the X1E, as well as the X1C and P1P models.
Q: Does this come with a 0.6mm nozzle option?
A: This specific package comes with a standard 0.4mm hardened steel nozzle. However, the assembly is designed to accept other hardened steel nozzles sold separately if you need different diameters.
Q: Can I use this with flexible TPU filaments?
A: Yes, you can print TPU with this hotend. However, because the hardened steel nozzle has a slightly different internal geometry than the standard brass one, you may need to adjust your retraction settings slightly for best results.
