Good but missing a few screws
The concept is amazing and the robot moves nicely. Unfortunately, my kit was missing two small screws for the leg assembly. I had to source them locally. Support was helpful though.

Awesome weekend project with my son
We built this over a weekend. It was a great bonding experience. The block coding option made it accessible for my 12-year-old, while I handled the more complex wiring. Highly recommended for families.

Excellent value for money
For the price, you get a fully functional quadruped robot with a powerful MCU. The community support online is also very active, which helps when you get stuck on code.

Great hardware, steep learning curve
The build quality of the servos and the board is excellent. However, if you have never coded in C before, be prepared to spend some time reading the documentation. Once running, the movements are smooth.

Perfect introduction to robotics
This kit is fantastic for anyone wanting to learn about STM32 microcontrollers. The voice control feature works surprisingly well after calibration, and the assembly instructions are clear. My dog even tries to play with it!

Solid platform for customization
I've added ultrasonic sensors and an LED matrix to mine. The board has enough GPIO pins for expansion. Battery life is decent, lasting about 45 minutes of continuous movement.
Q: Is the chassis durable enough for outdoor use on grass?
A: The robot is designed primarily for indoor use on hard floors. While it can handle short periods on flat grass, rough terrain or wet conditions may damage the servos or electronics.
Q: Does this kit come with pre-written code for the voice commands?
A: Yes, the kit includes a GitHub repository with sample firmware that supports basic voice commands like 'walk', 'sit', and 'dance'. You can modify these or write your own.
Q: What software do I need to install on my computer?
A: You will need an IDE compatible with STM32, such as STM32CubeIDE or Keil MDK. For block coding, we provide a web-based interface that connects via Bluetooth.
Q: Can I control the robot dog with a smartphone?
A: Absolutely. Once paired via Bluetooth, you can use our free mobile app (iOS and Android) to control movements, update firmware, and record custom voice triggers.
Q: How long does it take to fully charge the battery?
A: Using a standard 5V/1A USB charger, the battery takes approximately 2 hours to reach full capacity. The indicator LED will turn green when charging is complete.
