Best budget BT5.0 dev board
Compared to other development boards in this category, the Ai-Thinker TB-02 offers the best balance of features and cost. The mesh networking feature is a game changer for distributed systems.

Solid performance, good range
The range is impressive for such a small module. I tested it across my workshop and got consistent data transmission. The only reason for 4 stars is the USB cable included feels a bit flimsy.

Easy to integrate with Arduino
I was able to get this running with the Ameba Arduino core in under an hour. The pinout is clearly labeled, and the transparent mode saved me days of coding custom BLE protocols.

Great value, minor documentation gaps
Hardware quality is excellent for the price point. Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity is stable. The only downside is that some advanced SDK examples are a bit sparse, but the community forums helped me figure it out.

Perfect for IoT Mesh Projects

Reliable for university projects
