Excellent compatibility with Keil C51
Compiled code in Keil and flashed it instantly. No issues with the bootloader. The reset button is responsive and the power LED is bright enough to see in daylight.

Perfect for learning 8051 architecture
This board is exactly what I needed to get started with the STC89C52RC. The CH340 driver installed easily on Windows 10, and I was able to upload my first hex file within minutes. Great value for students.

Nostalgic and functional
Brings back memories of university labs. The 11.0592MHz crystal ensures accurate baud rates for serial communication. Only wish it came with a case, but that's a minor issue.

Solid board, minor documentation gaps
The hardware quality is excellent and the pinout is clearly marked. However, the included PDF manual is a bit sparse on advanced timer configurations. Still, highly recommended for the price point.

Reliable for industrial prototyping
We used several of these for initial prototyping of a control module. They handled continuous operation without overheating. The serial download feature via USB is very convenient compared to older parallel programmers.

Great starter kit component
Bought this as part of a larger learning set. The board is sturdy, and the LEDs provide good visual feedback for testing GPIO pins. Shipping was fast too.
Q: Is the CH340 driver included in the package?
A: The physical driver chip is on the board, but the software driver must be downloaded from our website or the manufacturer's site and installed on your computer.
Q: Can I power this board via the VIN pin instead of USB?
A: Yes, you can supply 5V DC directly to the VIN pin or the 5V header, but ensure the polarity is correct to avoid damaging the board.
Q: What software is required to program this microcontroller?
A: You can use the STC-ISP software provided by STC Micro for flashing hex files. For development, popular IDEs include Keil C51 or SDCC.
Q: Does this come with example code for blinking an LED?
