Perfect for dual-display industrial kiosks
We deployed these boards in several prototype kiosks. The ability to drive two different displays simultaneously via HDMI and DP is exactly what we needed. Thermal management is good even under load.

Decent but not for heavy emulation
Works well for basic tasks and older console emulation. However, don't expect PS2 or Switch performance. For the price point and intended industrial/development use, it meets expectations, just manage your gaming hopes.

Reliable for edge computing tasks
The Gigabit Ethernet and USB 3.0 speeds make this ideal for edge data processing. We are using it to aggregate sensor data before sending it to the cloud. No crashes after 3 weeks of continuous operation.

Great value but documentation could be better
Hardware is solid and the heterogeneous display features are impressive. However, finding specific pinout diagrams for the GPIO headers required some digging in community forums. Once set up, it runs very smoothly.

Excellent board for Android TV projects
The 4K output is crisp and stable. I used this for a custom media center project and the hardware acceleration works flawlessly with Kodi. The 2GB RAM is sufficient for most lightweight Android applications.

Good learning platform for ARM architecture
As a student, this board offered a great way to learn about the RK3399 SoC. Compilation times are reasonable, and the community support for mainline Linux kernels is growing. Wish it came with a case.
