Perfect for learning ARM architecture

Solid performer for industrial prototypes
Used this for a quick proof-of-concept in an industrial setting. It handled the logic tasks well. Would prefer if it came with header pins pre-soldered, but that's a minor inconvenience.

Great value, minor pin labeling issue
The performance is solid for the price. My only complaint is that the silk screen pin labels are slightly hard to read under low light. Otherwise, a fantastic development module.

Compact and efficient
Small form factor fits perfectly into my custom sensor nodes. The power consumption is very low, which is critical for my battery-operated projects.
Q: Is this compatible with the Arduino IDE?
A: Yes, it is compatible with the Arduino IDE provided you install the appropriate PY32 board package via the Board Manager. Some peripheral libraries may differ from standard AVR boards.
Q: Can I power this board directly via the 5V pin?
A: It is recommended to power the board via the 3.3V pin as the onboard regulator is minimal. Applying 5V directly to the 3.3V rail may damage the MCU. Please refer to the schematic before connecting power.
Q: What is the maximum current draw per GPIO pin?
A: Each GPIO pin can source or sink up to 25mA. However, the total current for all ports combined should not exceed the limits specified in the datasheet to ensure stability.
Q: Does this support floating-point arithmetic?
A: The Cortex-M0+ core does not have a hardware Floating Point Unit (FPU). Floating-point operations are handled in software, which is slower than hardware acceleration but still functional for many applications.
Q: Does this board come with a USB programmer included?
A: No, this package includes only the core board module. You will need a separate SWD debugger/programmer (such as ST-Link or J-Link) to upload code.
