Golden Silk lives up to its name
The resonance is warm yet clear. The big Chen style body gives it a deeper bottom end than smaller models I have tried. Highly recommended for serious players.

Perfect for stage performance
I have used this for several theater productions in Zhengzhou. The volume projects well without amplification, and the sustain is impressive for a Zhuihu.

Solid professional choice
Very happy with the purchase. The bow hair is high quality and the case provides good protection. One minor scratch on the back, but it does not affect the sound.

Authentic Henan sound
As a teacher of traditional instruments, I appreciate the attention to detail in the neck carving and string spacing. It is ready to play right out of the box.

Beautiful instrument, needs setup
The wood quality is superb and the finish is glossy. It arrived slightly out of tune, but after a professional setup, it sings beautifully. Great value for a professional grade instrument.

Exceptional tone for Henan Opera
This Zhuihu produces the exact bright and piercing sound required for Quju performances. The craftsmanship is outstanding, and the silk strings feel authentic under the bow.
Q: Are the strings made of real silk or synthetic material?
A: The instrument is strung with high-quality natural silk strings to ensure authentic tonal characteristics typical of traditional Zhuihu.
Q: Is this suitable for a beginner student?
A: While beginners can use it, this is a professional-grade instrument. We recommend it for intermediate to advanced players who need specific tonal projection for performance.
Q: What is the return policy if the sound quality is not what I expected?
A: We offer a 30-day return policy for unused items in original packaging. Please contact our support team to initiate a return request.
Q: Does this instrument come with a hard case or a soft bag?
A: This professional model comes with a sturdy hard-shell case designed to protect the instrument during travel and storage.
Q: Can I replace the strings with steel strings later?
A: Yes, the bridge and nut are compatible with steel strings, though using silk is recommended to maintain the traditional timbre of the Zhuihu.
