Reliable and sensitive
I bought five of these for a robotics class project. All of them functioned perfectly out of the box. The ability to run on both 5V and 12V makes it versatile for different power setups.

Simple and effective
No complex coding required, just a digital read. The potentiometer allows fine-tuning which is a huge plus. Wish it came with header pins pre-soldered, but that's a minor inconvenience.

Great for safety interlocks
Used this to create a safety cutoff for a motorized platform. If the platform tilts too far, the sensor triggers the stop. Very reliable performance over the last few weeks of testing.

Good value, works well
Solid little sensor. I used it to detect when a box was opened by tilting. It responds quickly. Only giving 4 stars because the mounting holes are a bit tight for standard screws, but overall great quality.

Perfect for my Arduino project
This tilt module worked exactly as described. The sensitivity adjustment is very smooth, allowing me to set the exact angle needed for my alarm system. Easy to wire up and the LEDs make debugging simple.

Exceeded expectations
Very compact and sturdy. The build quality feels premium for the price. I integrated it into a smart home device to detect orientation changes, and it hasn't failed once.
Q: How do I adjust the sensitivity of the tilt detection?
A: There is a blue potentiometer on the board. Use a small screwdriver to turn it clockwise or counter-clockwise while tilting the module to set your desired trigger angle.
Q: Is this suitable for outdoor use?
A: The PCB itself is not waterproof or weatherproof. For outdoor applications, you must house the module in a sealed enclosure to protect it from moisture and dust.
Q: What is the maximum current this module draws?
A: The module consumes very little power, typically around 5-10mA when active, making it suitable for battery-powered projects.
Q: Can I use this with a 3.3V microcontroller?
A: While the operating voltage starts at 5V, the output pin is often compatible with 3.3V logic. However, for best stability, we recommend using a 5V supply and a logic level converter if your MCU is strictly 3.3V.
Q: Does this module output analog or digital signals?
A: This module outputs a digital signal (HIGH or LOW) depending on whether the tilt threshold has been exceeded.
