Good value, easy to integrate
Solid build quality for the price. Wiring was straightforward with clear labels for VCC, GND, and OUT. It took a moment to calibrate the potentiometer, but once set, it has been reliable for weeks.

Does the job well
Using this to control a water pump timer based on daylight. It's compact and fits easily into my weatherproof box. Only wish the connecting wires were a bit longer, but that's a minor issue.

Excellent component for Arduino projects
Although it works standalone, I used the output signal to trigger an Arduino pin as well. The voltage levels are stable, and the photoresistor reacts consistently to ambient light changes.

Perfect for my garden lighting project
This module worked exactly as described. I connected it to a 24V LED strip for my garden path, and it turns on automatically when the sun sets. The sensitivity knob is very useful for fine-tuning the trigger point.

Works great in low light conditions
Very sensitive to darkness changes. I tested it by covering the sensor with my hand, and the relay engaged immediately. Great for security lighting setups where immediate response is needed.
Q: Does it come with connecting wires?
A: Yes, the package includes a set of pre-cut jumper wires for easy connection to your power source and load device.
Q: Is this waterproof for outdoor use?
A: The PCB itself is not waterproof. For outdoor installation, you must place the module inside a suitable IP-rated enclosure to protect it from rain and moisture.
Q: Can this module handle AC loads directly?
A: The module output is a relay, so it can switch AC loads, but the control input voltage must be 24V DC. Please ensure your power supply matches the module requirements.
Q: What is the maximum current the relay can switch?
A: The onboard relay is rated for up to 10A. We recommend staying below 8A for continuous operation to ensure long-term reliability and prevent overheating.
Q: How do I adjust the sensitivity of the light detection?
A: There is a blue potentiometer on the board. Use a small screwdriver to turn it clockwise to increase sensitivity (trigger in brighter conditions) or counter-clockwise to decrease it.
