Works well but requires careful installation
The hotend works perfectly once installed. Just be very careful not to overtighten the connections as the material is hard but can be brittle if mishandled. Follow the manual exactly. Once set up, it prints beautifully with abrasive materials.

Seamless replacement

Perfect upgrade for carbon fiber printing
I switched to this silicon carbide hotend specifically to print carbon fiber reinforced PLA. The standard brass nozzle wore out in a few hours, but this one has been running flawlessly for over 20 hours with no signs of wear. Installation on my A1 Mini was straightforward.

Solid performer
Very happy with this purchase. It allows me to use filaments I previously avoided due to nozzle wear concerns. The only minor issue is that it takes a minute longer to reach target temperature compared to the stock aluminum block, but it's negligible.
