Excellent build quality
The aluminum block feels solid, and the threads on the nozzle are precise. Installation took less than 20 minutes. My PLA and PETG prints look flawless now.

Solved my heating issues

Perfect drop-in replacement

Good value, minor adjustment needed
The unit works well overall. I had to slightly adjust the PTFE tube length to ensure a tight seal, but once done, no more clogs. Great price for a complete kit.

Works as described
Straightforward upgrade for older CR-10 models. The only reason for 4 stars is that the included screws were slightly different from my original setup, but I had spares.
Q: Can I use this for printing ABS filament?
A: Absolutely. The heating block can reach temperatures up to 260°C, which is sufficient for printing ABS, PLA, PETG, and TPU.
Q: Does this come with a silicone sock?
A: No, this package includes the hotend assembly, nozzle, and mounting hardware only. Silicone socks are sold separately.
Q: Do I need to update my firmware after installing this?
A: No firmware update is necessary. This is a direct hardware replacement that uses the same electrical connections as your original part.
Q: What is the length of the PTFE tube inside the assembly?
A: The internal PTFE liner is cut to the standard length required for the CR-10 remote extruder setup to minimize gaps and prevent clogging.
Q: Is this compatible with the CR-10 V2 model?
A: Yes, this assembly is fully compatible with the CR-10 V2, as well as the S1, S4, and S5 models.
