Great strength, needs enclosure
The mechanical properties are outstanding for engineering applications. I did experience some minor warping when I tried printing without the enclosure door closed, but with the chamber heated, it was flawless.

Best PC-ABS for Bambu systems
We use this in our office for creating custom jigs and fixtures. The impact resistance is real; we dropped a printed part on concrete and it didn't even crack. Will definitely reorder.

Worth the upgrade from standard PLA
Switched from PLA for parts that need to withstand higher temperatures in my car dashboard. This filament holds up perfectly even on hot summer days. No deformation whatsoever.

Perfect for functional prototypes
This PC-ABS filament prints beautifully on my X1 Carbon. The layer adhesion is excellent, and the parts feel incredibly sturdy. Just make sure you have a hardened steel nozzle installed before starting.

Smooth finish and easy to sand
I used this for a project that required post-processing and electroplating. The surface finish out of the printer was smooth, and it sanded down very evenly. Highly recommend for professional finishes.

Consistent diameter, reliable flow
The spool was wound neatly with no tangles. The diameter consistency seems very tight as I had no clogs or flow issues during a 20-hour print. Deducting one star only because the price is a bit high.
Q: Can this be printed on the P1P without an enclosure modification?
A: The P1P comes with a basic cover, but for best results with PC-ABS, we recommend ensuring the chamber temperature remains stable. Using the official enclosure or keeping the room warm helps prevent warping.
Q: What bed adhesive works best with this material?
A: For textured PEI sheets, cleaning with IPA is usually sufficient. For smooth PEI or glass, a thin layer of PVP glue stick or ABS slurry can help prevent warping and ensure strong first-layer adhesion.
Q: Is this filament suitable for outdoor use?
A: While PC-ABS has good heat resistance and impact strength, it is not inherently UV stabilized. For prolonged outdoor exposure, we recommend painting or coating the final print to protect it from sunlight.
Q: Does this come in colors other than black?
A: Currently, this specific engineering grade PC-ABS formulation is available primarily in black to ensure maximum structural integrity and UV resistance consistency across batches.
Q: Do I absolutely need a hardened steel nozzle for this filament?
A: Yes, PC-ABS contains carbon fibers and abrasive compounds that will quickly wear down brass nozzles. A hardened steel nozzle is mandatory for this material.
