Great quality, slightly pricey
The build quality is excellent and prints are very consistent. My only hesitation is the price point, but considering the durability against abrasive materials, it is worth the investment.

No more clogs
I was experiencing frequent clogs with my brass nozzle when printing glitter PLA. This hardened steel kit solved the problem entirely. Surface finish remains smooth and detailed.

Perfect for abrasive filaments
I switched to this hardened steel nozzle specifically for printing carbon fiber PLA, and it has held up perfectly. The detachable design makes swapping nozzles incredibly fast compared to my old setup.

Customer support was helpful
I had questions about compatibility with my X1C, and the documentation was clear. The part fits perfectly and has improved my print reliability significantly.
Q: Is this hotend kit compatible with the Bambu Lab X1 Carbon?
A: Yes, this hotend kit is fully compatible with the X1, X1C, and X1E models, as well as the P1P and P1S series.
Q: How often should I replace the hardened steel nozzle?
A: Hardened steel nozzles last significantly longer than brass ones. Under normal usage with abrasive filaments, you can expect several hundred hours of printing before replacement is needed, depending on the specific material abrasiveness.
Q: Does the package include thermal paste?
A: Yes, a small packet of high-quality thermal paste is included in the box to ensure optimal heat transfer between the heater block and the thermistor.
Q: Can I use this nozzle for printing pure metal filaments?
A: While the nozzle is made of hardened steel, we do not recommend printing pure metal filaments as they may exceed the thermal limits and cause excessive wear. It is best suited for composites like carbon fiber or glass fiber filled plastics.
Q: What is the difference between the 0.2mm and 0.4mm versions?
A: The 0.2mm nozzle offers higher detail and finer resolution for small miniatures but prints slower. The 0.4mm nozzle is the standard size, offering a better balance of speed, strength, and detail for general-purpose printing.
