Perfect for carbon fiber prints
I switched to the hardened steel nozzle specifically for printing with carbon fiber filled PLA. It has held up perfectly without any signs of wear after several spools. Highly recommended for abrasive filaments.

Consistent extrusion

Essential upgrade for durability
If you plan on doing a lot of printing, these are a must-have. The stainless steel option is great for standard materials, while the hardened steel gives peace of mind for anything abrasive. Very happy with this purchase.

Solid performance
Using the 0.6mm hardened nozzle for faster structural prints. It handles higher flow rates well. Only giving 4 stars because I wish the pack came with a cleaning needle, but that's a minor issue.

Great quality, slight learning curve
The build quality is excellent and fits my A1 mini perfectly. I had to tweak my temperature settings slightly compared to the stock brass nozzle, but once dialed in, the prints are flawless.

Easy to install
I was worried about changing the nozzle myself, but the process was straightforward. The instructions were clear, and the nozzle seated perfectly. My print quality improved immediately.
Q: How often should I replace the hardened steel nozzle?
A: Hardened steel nozzles last much longer than brass ones. For non-abrasive filaments, they can last indefinitely under normal use. For highly abrasive materials, inspect them every few hundred hours of printing for signs of ovalization or wear.
Q: Do I need to recalibrate my printer after installing a new nozzle size?
A: Yes, it is highly recommended to run the flow rate calibration and potentially the pressure advance calibration in the printer settings whenever you change nozzle diameter or type to ensure optimal print quality.
Q: What is the difference between the Hardened Steel and Stainless Steel versions?
A: Hardened Steel is significantly more wear-resistant and is required for abrasive filaments like carbon fiber, glass fiber, or metal-filled plastics.
