Solid alternative to Raspberry Pi for AI
If you need dedicated AI acceleration that the standard Raspberry Pi lacks, this is the board to get. Setup took about an hour, but once running, it's very stable.

Great hardware, documentation needs work
The hardware quality is excellent and the sunrise X3 chip is powerful. However, some of the English documentation for advanced peripheral configuration could be more detailed. Still, a solid choice for developers.

Perfect for ROS2 Learning
This board is exactly what I needed to transition from simulation to real-world robotics. The pre-installed ROS2 image works flawlessly, and the 10 TOPS NPU handles object detection models smoothly without lag.

Impressive AI Performance
I was skeptical about the 10 TOPS claim, but after running YOLOv5 on it, I'm impressed. It maintains high FPS even with multiple camera streams. Great value compared to other industrial boards.
Q: Is the camera module sold separately or included in the box?
A: The development board itself does not include camera modules. However, it is compatible with standard MIPI CSI cameras, which are available in our store as part of the complete vision kit.
Q: Can I run Ubuntu Desktop on this board?
A: The board officially supports Ubuntu Server optimized for the Sunrise X3 architecture. While a desktop environment can be installed manually, it is primarily designed for headless robotics applications.
Q: Does this support CAN bus for motor controllers?
A: Yes, the board features a dedicated CAN FD interface, making it fully compatible with industrial motor controllers and automotive-grade communication protocols.
Q: What version of Python is supported for AI model deployment?
A: The default OS image comes with Python 3.8 and 3.10 supported. Our Toolchain SDK provides libraries compatible with these versions for deploying models via TensorRT or ONNX.
Q: Does this board come with a heatsink or fan included?
A: The standard kit includes a passive aluminum heatsink. For heavy AI workloads sustained over long periods, we recommend purchasing the active cooling fan accessory separately.
