Reliable for motor control projects
I used this board to control a small DC motor driver. The PWM output is stable, and the 72MHz clock speed handles my control loops easily. Highly recommended for robotics prototypes.

Good for IoT prototyping
Works well when paired with an ESP8266 for WiFi connectivity. The 3.3V logic level makes interfacing easy. Just remember you need a separate programmer; it doesn't have onboard USB-to-serial for programming like some other boards.

Exceeded expectations
The soldering quality on this Weidongshan batch is superior to generic ones I've bought before. The crystal oscillator seems very stable, and my real-time clock project keeps accurate time.

Great value, minor documentation gap
Hardware is solid and runs FreeRTOS without any issues. The only reason for 4 stars is that the specific pinout diagram for this exclusive design could be clearer in the box, but standard Blue Pill resources work fine.

Best budget MCU board
As a university student, this board offers incredible performance for the price. I successfully completed my semester project on sensor data logging using the UART interface. No crashes so far!

Perfect for learning embedded systems
This Blue Pill board is exactly what I needed to start my journey with STM32. The Weidongshan version has excellent build quality, and the pin headers were pre-soldered perfectly. Uploading code via ST-Link was seamless.
Q: What debugger do I need to buy separately?
A: We recommend the ST-Link V2 or V3 debugger/programmer. It connects to the SWD pins (CLK, DIO, GND, 3.3V) on the board for flashing and debugging.
Q: Does it support MicroPython?
A: Yes, you can flash MicroPython firmware onto the STM32F103C8T6. Please ensure you download the correct .dfu file for the 64KB flash variant from the official MicroPython repository.
Q: Does this board come with pre-soldered pin headers?
A: Yes, this specific Weidongshan edition comes with male pin headers pre-soldered for both sides of the board, ready for immediate use on breadboards.
Q: Is the 5V pin an output or input?
A: The 5V pin acts as an input if you are powering the board via an external 5V source (bypassing the USB). If powered via USB, it can provide 5V output, but we recommend using the 3.3V pin for sensitive peripherals.
Q: Can I program this using the Arduino IDE?
A: Absolutely. You can program the STM32F103 using the Arduino IDE by installing the 'STM32Duino' core. Select the 'Generic STM32F103C series' board and choose the appropriate upload method (ST-Link or DFU).
