Best resource for embedded Linux beginners
The explanation of device tree and driver structure by Mr. Wei is incredibly clear. The board arrived in perfect condition and the examples run smoothly out of the box.

Comprehensive and practical
I bought this to transition from MCU to MPU development. The step-by-step videos on building the root filesystem and porting drivers saved me weeks of research.

Great content, minor shipping delay
The course material is top-notch and covers everything from bootloader to application layer. The board quality is solid. Only issue was a slight delay in shipping, but support kept me updated.

Solid industrial grade board
Using this for prototyping an industrial controller. The stability of the Linux image is impressive. Would give 5 stars if the English subtitles in the videos were slightly more polished, but the technical content is flawless.

Worth every penny for students
As an engineering student, this kit provided all the tools I needed for my final year project. The community forum linked in the course is also very active and helpful.
Q: Is the source code compatible with newer kernel versions like 5.15 or 6.1?
A: The course primarily uses LTS kernel 4.1.15 for stability and compatibility with the i.MX6ULL BSP, but the principles taught apply to newer kernels. We provide patches and guides for upgrading to 5.15 in the supplementary materials section.
Q: Does this kit include the compiler toolchain, or do I need to install it separately?
A: The USB drive included in the package contains the pre-configured cross-compiler toolchain, virtual machine image, and all necessary scripts to get started immediately without complex setup.
Q: Can I power the board via USB or does it require a separate adapter?
A: The board can be powered via the Type-C USB port for basic operations. However, when using the LCD screen and Wi-Fi simultaneously, we recommend using the included 5V/2A DC power adapter to ensure stable performance.
Q: Are the video lectures available with English subtitles?
A: Yes, the complete video series includes English subtitles. Additionally, the accompanying PDF documentation and code comments are fully written in English to assist international learners.
Q: What is the warranty period for the development board hardware?
A: The hardware comes with a standard 12-month warranty covering manufacturing defects. We also offer lifetime technical support for the software and course content via our online ticketing system.
