Best board for prototyping industrial controls
We used these for a prototype industrial monitoring system. The stability of the connection and the processing power allowed us to handle multiple sensor inputs and cloud uploads simultaneously without lag.

Perfect for Edge AI Projects
The combination of the P4 and C6 chips is brilliant. I was able to run lightweight AI models locally with impressive speed. The MIPI DSI interface made connecting a high-res display very straightforward.

Excellent value for dual-chip architecture
Having a dedicated wireless co-processor frees up the main CPU for heavy lifting. My robot vision project runs much smoother now. Highly recommend for anyone doing computer vision on a budget.

Powerful but requires some learning
This is my first RISC-V board. It is very fast, but coming from an Arduino background, there was a bit of a learning curve with the toolchain. Once set up, it works flawlessly.

Great hardware, documentation needs expansion
The board itself is powerful and the Wi-Fi 6 support is a game changer for IoT projects. However, some of the specific pinout diagrams for the camera interface could be more detailed for beginners.
Q: Is the ESP32-C6 module replaceable if damaged?
A: No, the ESP32-C6 is soldered directly onto the PCB as a co-processor and is not designed to be user-replaceable.
Q: Can I power this board directly with a 3.7V LiPo battery?
A: While the board has a 5V input, it does not have an onboard charging circuit for LiPo batteries. You should use a regulated 5V source or a separate battery management module.
Q: What is the maximum resolution supported by the DVP camera interface?
A: The DVP interface supports resolutions up to 8MP (e.g., 3264x2448), though actual frame rates will depend on the specific sensor and processing load.
Q: Does this board support Python programming via MicroPython or CircuitPython?
A: Yes, the ESP32-P4 supports MicroPython. CircuitPython support is currently in development and expected in future releases.
