Reliable and compact
I've integrated this into several prototypes. The form factor is compact enough for tight enclosures, and the power consumption is lower than previous ESP32 models I've used. Highly recommended for prototyping.

Perfect for RISC-V learning
This board is fantastic for getting started with the ESP32-C3 architecture. The USB-C connection makes powering it easy, and it was recognized immediately by my computer. Great build quality from the official Tianwen line.

Good board, fast shipping
The hardware works exactly as described. Flashing firmware is quick and error-free. I deducted one star simply because I wished it came with header pins pre-soldered, but that's a minor inconvenience.

Solid performance, minor pin labeling issue
The Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity are stable. I used it for a home automation sensor project without issues. The only downside is that the silkscreen pin labels are a bit small, so keep the datasheet handy.
Q: Does this board support MicroPython out of the box?
A: Yes, the ESP32C3PRO is fully compatible with MicroPython. You will need to flash the MicroPython firmware binary onto the board using a tool like esptool.py, after which you can program it via the REPL.
Q: Is the antenna detachable or is it fixed to the PCB?
A: This model features a fixed on-board PCB antenna. It is not detachable. If your project requires an external antenna connector, please look for our ESP32-C3 variants that include an IPEX connector.
Q: What is the maximum current this board can supply on the 3.3V pin?
A: The onboard LDO regulator can typically supply up to 500mA total for the board and external peripherals. However, for stable operation, we recommend drawing no more than 300mA from the 3.3V pin for external sensors or modules.
Q: Can I power this board with a 3.7V LiPo battery directly?
A: No, you should not connect a LiPo battery directly to the USB-C port or the 5V input without a charging module. This board does not have an onboard battery charging circuit. Please use a separate TP4056 module or a dedicated power management shield.
Q: Does the package include jumper wires or headers?
A: The standard package includes only the ESP32C3PRO development board. Pin headers, jumper wires, and USB cables are sold separately unless you select a specific 'Starter Kit' bundle option at checkout.
