Excellent learning tool
Used this for my university embedded systems course. The expansion headers make it very versatile for connecting various sensors. The STM32CubeIDE support is a huge plus.

Good board, steep learning curve
If you are new to ARM architecture, be prepared to do some reading. The board itself works great, but understanding the register-level programming took me some time.

Great value, minor documentation issues
The hardware quality is solid for the price. I had to search online for a specific library to get the WiFi module working smoothly, but once set up, it performs flawlessly.
Q: What is the maximum current the motor driver can handle?
A: The onboard motor driver interface supports up to 2A per channel continuously. For high-torque motors, we recommend using an external driver module connected via the expansion pins.
Q: Can I program this using the Arduino IDE?
A: Absolutely. You can program the STM32F103 using the Arduino IDE by installing the appropriate STM32 board manager package. Many example codes for smart cars are available in the community.
Q: Does it support WiFi control out of the box?
A: The board has headers designed for ESP-01 WiFi modules. While the WiFi module itself may need to be purchased separately depending on the specific SKU, the firmware examples for WiFi control are provided in our GitHub repository.
Q: Does this board come with the Bluetooth module included?
A: Yes, the standard kit includes the HC-05 Bluetooth module pre-soldered or ready to plug in, depending on the specific batch. Please check the package contents list upon arrival.
Q: Is a USB cable included for programming?
A: Yes, a standard Micro-USB cable is included in the box for both power supply and firmware uploading.
