Excellent emulation performance
Runs retro games up to N64 and Dreamcast very well. The USB 3.0 ports are fast for loading ROMs from external drives. Only wish the power cable was included in some kits.

Great board, but needs good cooling
Performance is excellent for learning Python and Linux. Just make sure to buy a case with a fan because it does get warm under load. The setup instructions were clear.

Solid little machine for edge computing
Using this for local data processing before sending to the cloud. The gigabit ethernet ensures fast throughput. Very stable after weeks of 24/7 operation.

Best investment for CS students
Bought this for my university robotics project. The GPIO pins are easy to work with, and having 8GB of RAM means I can run heavier IDEs directly on the device.
Q: Is Windows 10 or 11 supported on this model?
A: Yes, Windows 10 and 11 on ARM are supported. However, for the best performance and compatibility with most tutorials, we recommend using Raspberry Pi OS (Linux).
Q: Does this kit come with a power supply and SD card?
A: This specific listing is for the board only. Power supplies, cases, and microSD cards are sold separately to allow you to choose the specifications that fit your project needs.
Q: What is the maximum resolution supported on dual monitors?
A: The Raspberry Pi 4 supports dual displays at up to 4Kp30 or one display at 4Kp60. Ensure you use high-quality micro-HDMI to HDMI cables for best results.
Q: Is this compatible with older HATs designed for Pi 3?
A: Yes, the 40-pin GPIO header is fully backwards compatible with HATs and accessories designed for previous Raspberry Pi models with the same header layout.
Q: Can I power this via the GPIO pins instead of USB-C?
A: While technically possible, we strongly recommend using the USB-C port for stable power delivery. Powering via GPIO bypasses protection circuits and may damage the board if voltage fluctuates.
