Great board, wish batteries were included
The board itself is fantastic and very robust. My only minor complaint is that you need to buy AAA batteries separately for portable projects, but the USB power works fine for desk testing.

Upgraded from V1, worth it!
The increased memory and processing power on the V2 make a noticeable difference when running complex Python scripts. The built-in speaker is a nice bonus for sound projects.

Solid starter kit
Good value for money. The documentation online is extensive which helps when you get stuck. Would give 5 stars if the crocodile clips were a bit more durable.

Reliable and versatile
We have deployed twenty of these for our robotics club. They connect easily via Bluetooth to phones and tablets, making remote control projects very straightforward to implement.

Excellent classroom resource

Perfect for introducing kids to coding
Bought this for my 10-year-old son and he absolutely loves it. The graphical programming interface is intuitive, and he had his first LED pattern running within minutes. Great educational tool.
Q: What is the maximum range of the Bluetooth connection?
A: Under ideal open-field conditions, the Bluetooth Low Energy range is approximately 30 to 50 meters. Indoor range may vary depending on walls and interference.
Q: Does this kit come with a battery pack?
A: Yes, this introductory learning kit includes a battery holder. However, please note that two AAA batteries are not included and must be purchased separately.
Q: Can this board be programmed using Python?
A: Yes, the micro:bit V2 fully supports MicroPython. You can write code directly in the browser using the MakeCode editor or use offline IDEs like Mu Editor.
Q: Is it compatible with the old V1 accessories?
A: Absolutely. The edge connector pinout is backward compatible with most V1 expansion boards and breakout cables, so your existing accessories will work.
Q: Can I use this without a computer after uploading code?
