Excellent value with the SSD upgrade
Coming from an older Xavier NX, the speed difference is night and day. The pre-installed SSD saves so much time not having to clone images or buy separate storage.

Ideal for robotics students
Bought this for our university robotics club. The wireless capability allows us to debug remotely without tethering. Power efficiency is impressive too.

Great board, minor documentation gaps
Hardware is top-notch and very fast. The carrier board layout is logical. Only giving 4 stars because some GPIO pinout details in the manual were slightly unclear, but community forums helped.

Solid industrial control solution
Using this for a factory automation pilot. It handles multiple camera streams without breaking a sweat. Wish it had more Ethernet ports natively, but a USB adapter works fine.

Perfect for edge AI prototyping
The included 256GB SSD is a huge plus. Setup was straightforward, and the WiFi module works flawlessly out of the box. Great performance for computer vision tasks.
Q: Is the 256GB SSD replaceable if I need more storage later?
A: Yes, the SSD is mounted on an M.2 Key M slot. You can easily swap it for a larger capacity NVMe SSD, provided it fits within the physical dimensions of the carrier board enclosure.
Q: Is the WiFi module pre-installed or do I need to attach it?
A: The Dual-band WiFi 6 module comes pre-installed on the M.2 Key E slot of the carrier board, so it is ready to use immediately upon first boot.
Q: What is the maximum resolution supported for camera input?
A: The board supports up to two cameras simultaneously via MIPI CSI-2 interfaces. It can handle sensors up to 4K resolution depending on the specific camera module and frame rate requirements.
Q: Does this kit come with a power adapter?
A: The kit includes the development board, carrier board, SSD, and WiFi module. A compatible 19V power adapter is sold separately, though standard USB-C PD chargers can also be used for lower power modes.
Q: Can I run Ubuntu 22.04 on this board?
A: Yes, the Jetson Orin Nano Super supports Ubuntu 22.04 LTS via the official NVIDIA JetPack SDK. Please ensure you download the latest JetPack version for optimal compatibility.
