Best value for Kintex-7 development
Compared to other boards in this class, the price-to-performance ratio is unbeatable. The onboard USB-JTAG saves the need for an external programmer, and the power delivery system is robust enough for heavy designs.

Reliable for computer vision tasks
Successfully deployed a custom CNN accelerator on this board. The block RAM distribution is ideal for buffering video frames, and the parallel camera interface handled our 1080p sensor without dropping frames.

Excellent board for high-performance parallel processing
This Kintex-7 board exceeded my expectations. The resource count is massive, allowing me to implement complex image processing pipelines without running out of logic cells. The DDR3 interface works flawlessly at rated speeds.

Perfect for industrial control prototypes

Great hardware, documentation could be better
The build quality is solid and the FMC connectors are very useful for expanding I/O. However, the example projects for the camera interface were a bit sparse. Once I got the constraints file right, everything worked perfectly.

Solid choice for learning advanced FPGA concepts
As a graduate student, this board provided enough headroom to experiment with high-speed serial protocols and parallel computing architectures. The only downside is the fan noise under full load, but that's expected.
