Impressive wireless performance
The antenna design on this module is superior. I get consistent connection speeds even through walls where my old dev boards would drop packets. The AI instruction set is a nice bonus for future-proofing.

Great board, minor documentation gaps
Hardware quality is excellent. The USB-C connector is sturdy, and the Wi-Fi range is better than the older ESP32 models. Only giving 4 stars because the pinout diagram on the silkscreen could be clearer for beginners.

Perfect for AI Voice Projects
I bought this specifically for the Xiaozhi robot project mentioned in the description. The dual-core performance handles voice recognition smoothly, and the built-in PSRAM is a huge plus. Setup with ESP-IDF was straightforward.

Easy to get started
As someone new to microcontrollers, I found the community support for the S3 chip incredible. It works seamlessly with MicroPython. The board arrived well-packaged and ready to code immediately.

Solid for industrial control prototypes
Using this for a factory sensor node prototype. The temperature stability seems good, and the multiple UART interfaces are very useful. Would prefer if it came with header pins pre-soldered, but that's a minor issue.

Best value for IoT prototyping
Switched from Arduino to this for a smart home hub. The Bluetooth LE connectivity is stable, and the processing power allows for local data processing without needing cloud round-trips. Highly recommended.
