Great board, minor pin spacing issue
Performance is excellent and the Bluetooth range is impressive. Just be careful when soldering headers as the pins are tightly packed.

Perfect for compact IoT projects
The SuperMini form factor is exactly what I needed for my wearable project. The native USB support makes flashing incredibly fast compared to older boards.

Best value ESP32-S3 board
I've tested several S3 boards, and this one offers the best balance of price and features. The 8MB PSRAM handles image processing tasks smoothly.

Good for learning
Easy to set up with Arduino IDE. Documentation could be slightly better for absolute beginners, but plenty of community resources exist.
Q: Is it compatible with the standard Arduino ESP32 library?
A: Yes, it is fully compatible. You just need to select 'ESP32S3 Dev Module' in the board manager within the Arduino IDE after installing the ESP32 package.
Q: What is the maximum current draw for the 3.3V pin?
A: The onboard regulator can supply up to 600mA, but we recommend keeping the load under 500mA for stability and thermal management.
Q: Can I power this board directly with a 3.7V LiPo battery?
A: No, this board does not have a built-in battery charging circuit. You must provide a regulated 5V input via USB or an external regulator if using a battery.
Q: Does it come with pre-soldered headers?
A: No, the board is shipped without headers to maintain its compact profile and allow flexibility for custom mounting solutions. Headers are sold separately.
Q: Does this board support external antennas?
A: No, this SuperMini version comes with an onboard PCB antenna only. There is no U.FL connector for external antennas on this specific model.
