Perfect for Industrial Prototyping
This board saved me weeks of design time. The dual CAN channels work flawlessly with our existing vehicle network simulator, and the three RS485 ports allow us to connect multiple sensors without extra converters. Highly recommended for embedded engineers.

Great learning tool, minor documentation gaps
Excellent hardware quality and the STM32F105 is powerful enough for complex projects. The only reason for 4 stars is that the schematic provided could be more detailed for beginners. Once you figure out the pin mapping, it works perfectly.

Robust CAN Bus Performance
We used this for testing a custom ECU protocol. The noise immunity on the CAN bus lines is impressive even in a noisy lab environment. The screw terminals make connections secure and easy to swap during debugging sessions.

Solid hardware, fast shipping
The board arrived well-packaged and functions exactly as described. The voltage regulation is stable. I deducted one star because the LED indicators are a bit dim, making it hard to see status in bright light, but functionally it is perfect.
Q: What debugger interface does this support?
A: This board supports both SWD (Serial Wire Debug) and JTAG interfaces. There is a standard 2x5 pin header located on the edge of the PCB for connecting your preferred debugger probe.
Q: Can I power this board directly via the USB port?
A: While the USB port provides data connectivity, we recommend using the external 5V DC jack for powering the board, especially when driving multiple loads on the RS485 or CAN buses to ensure stable operation.
Q: Does this board come with pre-flashed firmware or is it blank?
A: The board ships with a basic bootloader and a simple demo program to test the CAN and RS485 interfaces. However, it is intended for development, so you will likely flash your own application code using ST-Link or J-Link.
Q: Is the RS485 interface isolated from the main MCU?
A: Yes, the RS485 transceivers include optical isolation to protect the main STM32 microcontroller from voltage spikes and ground loops common in industrial environments.
