Perfect for industrial prototyping
We used this for a quick proof-of-concept for an industrial control interface. The Gigabit Ethernet performance is stable, and the multiple PMOD headers made connecting sensors very easy. Highly recommended for professionals.

Best bang for buck in the Zynq category
As a university student, budget is tight. This board offers high-end Xilinx capabilities at a fraction of the cost of competitor kits. The community support is growing, which makes troubleshooting easier.

Solid performance for robotics projects
Using this to process camera data for a small robot. The ARM side handles OpenCV well while the FPGA handles image preprocessing. The only downside is the fan can be a bit noisy under heavy load, but cooling is effective.

Great value, minor documentation gaps
For the price, you cannot beat the features offered here. The build quality feels solid with the black PCB. I deducted one star because some of the pinout diagrams for the FMC connector were slightly hard to find, but support cleared it up quickly.

Arrived quickly and works out of the box
Shipping was faster than expected. The board came well-packaged with anti-static protection. I loaded the demo Linux image from the SD card and it booted immediately. Very impressed with the plug-and-play experience.

Excellent board for embedded Linux learning
This ALINX board is fantastic for getting started with Zynq development. The hardware layout is clean, and the documentation provided on their wiki helped me get PetaLinux running within a few hours. The HDMI output works flawlessly.
Q: Is the FMC connector compatible with standard HPC or LPC modules?
A: This specific model features an FMC-LPC (Low Pin Count) connector. It is compatible with LPC mezzanine cards but not full HPC (High Pin Count) modules without an adapter.
Q: What version of Vivado is required for development?
A: We recommend using Xilinx Vivado 2020.2 or later for optimal compatibility with the board files and constraints provided in our GitHub repository.
Q: Can I power this board directly from a USB laptop port?
