Easy to integrate
Found plenty of libraries online. Only issue was finding the correct I2C address initially.

Much better than DHT11
The I2C interface saves GPIO pins on my ESP32. Readings are stable and consistent.

Solid sensor
Works well with Home Assistant. Just ensure you have pull-up resistors if your board lacks them.
Q: Which library do you recommend?
A: We recommend using the Adafruit DHT20 library for Arduino and CircuitPython.
Q: Is this compatible with 5V Arduino boards?
A: Yes, the module supports operating voltages between 3.3V and 5V DC.
Q: Can this sensor be used outdoors?
A: The sensor chip is robust, but the PCB is not waterproof. Please use a protective enclosure.
Q: Do I need external pull-up resistors?
A: Most boards have internal pull-ups, but external 4.7k resistors are recommended for long wires.
Q: What is the default I2C address?
A: The default I2C address for the DHT20 is typically 0x38.
