Good quality, clear instructions needed

The build quality is solid and the soldering points are well-defined. However, beginners might struggle slightly without a detailed pinout diagram in the package. Once wired correctly, it works exactly as described.

Great for learning embedded systems

Bought this for a university project. It was easy to interface with our STM32 board. The low power consumption is a huge plus for battery-operated prototypes.

Works well but needs calibration

The module works great after some minor calibration. Make sure to keep the wiring short to avoid noise interference. For the price, you really can't beat the functionality of having four channels on one small board.

Perfect for my Arduino project

These sensors work flawlessly with my Arduino Uno. The sensitivity is adjustable via the pads on the back, and they respond instantly to touch even through a thin plastic case. Great value for a 4-channel module.

Reliable and sensitive

Compact and efficient

Q: Can this module detect touch through glass or acrylic?

A: Yes, the TTP224 can detect touch through non-conductive materials like glass or acrylic, provided the material is not too thick (typically under 5mm works best).

Q: Is this compatible with 3.3V logic systems like ESP32?

A: Absolutely. The operating voltage range is 2.0V to 5.5V, making it fully compatible with both 3.3V systems (like ESP32, ESP8266) and 5V systems (like Arduino Uno).

Q: Is there a way to adjust the sensitivity of the sensors?

A: Yes, there are solder pads on the PCB that allow you to select different sensitivity levels and output modes (toggle vs. momentary). Please refer to the datasheet for the specific pad configurations.

Q: Does this come with header pins included?

A: The module typically comes with the PCB only. Header pins are not included by default but can be easily soldered on using standard 2.54mm pitch male headers.

Q: What is the maximum current this module can handle?

A: This is a signal sensor module, not a power switch. It outputs a logic signal (High/Low) to a microcontroller. It should not be used to directly drive high-current loads like motors or lamps without a relay or transistor circuit.
