Solid build, clear labeling
The PCB quality is good and the silk screen labeling makes wiring very easy. I deducted one star because the headers weren't pre-soldered, but that's minor. Works exactly as described.

Reliable level shifting
Used this in a custom IoT device prototype. It handles the I2C clock stretching well and maintains signal integrity. Very compact form factor fits nicely in tight enclosures.

Perfect for mixing 3.3V and 5V sensors
This module solved my communication issues between a 5V Arduino Uno and a 3.3V OLED display. The bi-directional shifting works flawlessly without any lag. Highly recommended for hobbyists.

Great value for the price
Bought five of these for our workshop. They all work perfectly out of the box. Good for teaching students about logic levels and I2C communication protocols.

Saved my project!
I was about to give up on connecting my BMP280 sensor to my 5V board until I found this. Setup took less than 10 minutes. Stable readings and no voltage spikes.
Q: Does this come with header pins included?
A: Yes, the package includes a set of male header pins, but they are not pre-soldered to the board so you can customize the mounting orientation.
Q: Can this module handle 4-channel I2C buses?
A: No, this specific model supports 2 channels (SDA and SCL). For multi-channel setups, you would need multiple modules or a dedicated I2C multiplexer.
Q: What is the maximum current this shifter can handle?
A: This is a logic level shifter designed for signal lines, not power delivery. It handles typical I2C pull-up currents (usually a few milliamps), not load currents.
Q: Can I use this for SPI communication as well?
A: While physically possible to connect, this module is optimized for open-drain I2C lines. For SPI, which uses push-pull outputs, a dedicated SPI level shifter is recommended for best reliability.
Q: Is it compatible with 1.8V logic systems?
A: Absolutely. The module supports a wide voltage range from 1.8V up to 5.5V on both the low-voltage and high-voltage sides.
