Reliable switching action
I've tested this with a multimeter and an infrared thermometer. The switching point is accurate within a degree or two after calibration. The relay feels robust and should handle high-current fans without issue.

Works well after initial setup
As a beginner, I found the adjustment screw a bit sensitive, but once I got it dialed in, it has been running flawlessly for weeks. It successfully turns on my auxiliary water pump when needed.

Good value, clear instructions needed
The hardware quality is solid for the price. It took me a little while to figure out the wiring diagram for the 4-wire setup, but once connected, it responds instantly to temperature changes. Great for automotive projects.

Essential component for thermal management
Bought two of these for a dual-fan setup. Both modules perform identically. The build quality exceeds expectations for this price point. No overheating issues with the relay even under continuous load.

Perfect for my custom fan controller
This module worked exactly as described. I installed it in my project car to trigger the radiator fans when the engine hits a specific temperature. The relay clicks cleanly and the potentiometer makes setting the threshold very easy.

Compact and effective
Small footprint fits perfectly in my engine bay control box. The LED indicators are bright enough to see during the day but not blinding at night. Highly recommend for anyone building a smart cooling system.
Q: Is the temperature threshold fixed or adjustable?
A: The threshold is fully adjustable using the blue potentiometer located on the board. You can set the trigger point anywhere within the sensor's effective range.
Q: What is the difference between the 3-wire and 4-wire connection?
A: The 3-wire mode uses a common ground for input and output. The 4-wire mode provides complete electrical isolation between the sensor circuit and the relay load circuit, which is safer for high-noise automotive environments.
Q: Can I use this to control a heating element instead of a fan?
A: Absolutely. The relay acts as a simple switch. You can configure it to close the circuit when the temperature drops below a set point, making it ideal for controlling heaters or seat warmers.
Q: Can this module handle a 12V DC fan drawing 8 amps?
A: Yes, the relay is rated for 10A at 30VDC, so it can safely switch a 12V fan drawing 8 amps.
Q: Does this come with the thermistor probe attached?
A: Yes, the module includes the NTC thermistor probe pre-connected. The probe cable is approximately 30cm long.
