Reliable switching action
I've tested this with a multimeter and an infrared thermometer. The switching point is accurate within a degree or two after calibration. The relay feels robust and should handle high-current fans without issue.

Works well after initial setup

Good value, clear instructions needed

Perfect for my custom fan controller

Compact and effective

A: The 3-wire mode uses a common ground for input and output. The 4-wire mode provides complete electrical isolation between the sensor circuit and the relay load circuit, which is safer for high-noise automotive environments.
Q: Can I use this to control a heating element instead of a fan?
A: Absolutely. The relay acts as a simple switch. You can configure it to close the circuit when the temperature drops below a set point, making it ideal for controlling heaters or seat warmers.
Q: Can this module handle a 12V DC fan drawing 8 amps?
