Essential for IoT projects
Using these with an ESP32 for a smart home greenhouse controller. The compact size fits easily into small enclosures. Very happy with the purchase, provided you have the skills to solder the sensor component yourself.

Good board, but read the title carefully
The PCB quality is excellent and the soldering points are clean. However, beginners might miss that the actual DS18B20 sensor chip is not included in the package. You need to buy that separately and solder it on. Once populated, it works perfectly with my Arduino project.

Does exactly what it says
No complaints about the hardware. It breaks out the pins nicely for breadboard use. Just remember to order the sensors separately. The 4.7k resistor value is standard and works well for most 1-wire bus lengths under 5 meters.

Confusing at first
I thought the sensor came with the module. Had to wait another week for the chips to arrive. The product description is accurate if you read it closely, but the title could be more prominent about the missing chip. The board itself seems durable though.

Perfect for custom setups
I bought ten of these to build a distributed temperature monitoring system. Having the pull-up resistor already on the board saves a lot of time. The pinout is clearly marked, making assembly straightforward.

Solid construction
Great little module. The gold plating on the contacts looks good, and the silk screen is easy to read. I soldered on some waterproof DS18B20 probes, and the connection is stable. Highly recommended for prototyping.
