Good accuracy after calibration
Make sure you calibrate it properly with buffer solutions before use. Once calibrated, it holds steady readings well. The probe feels sturdy enough for regular monitoring.

Solid build quality
The PCB looks clean and the components are well-soldered. Response time is quick enough for my aquarium controller. Just wish the cable was a bit longer.

Works but needs frequent recalibration
The sensor works fine initially, but I found I needed to recalibrate it every few days to maintain accuracy. Good for occasional checks, maybe not for continuous industrial monitoring.

Reliable and affordable
I have tested several pH modules, and this one offers the best balance of cost and performance. The BNC connector is standard and fits my existing probes too.
Q: Can I use this with a Raspberry Pi?
A: Yes, you can use it with a Raspberry Pi, but since the Pi lacks native analog inputs, you will need an external ADC (Analog-to-Digital Converter) like the MCP3008.
Q: How long does the non-rechargeable electrode last?
A: Under normal usage and proper storage conditions, the electrode typically lasts between 1 to 2 years before replacement is recommended.
Q: What is the warm-up time required before reading?
A: We recommend allowing the sensor to stabilize in the solution for about 1 to 2 minutes before taking a final reading to ensure accuracy.
Q: Is this sensor waterproof?
A: The probe tip is designed for immersion in liquids, but the electronic module board itself is not waterproof and should be kept dry.
Q: Does this module come with calibration powder?
A: No, this module includes the sensor and circuit board only. Calibration buffer solutions (pH 4.0, 6.86, and 9.18) must be purchased separately.
