Excellent for learning electronics
As a student, this was a great component to learn about relays and isolation. The documentation online is plentiful, and the module itself is very forgiving. Highly recommended for beginners.

Sturdy construction
The PCB quality is surprisingly good for the price point. Traces are thick enough, and the components are well-soldered. I am using this to control a water pump in a garden project, and it handles the load easily.

Great value, minor soldering needed
The module functions exactly as described. I appreciated the jumper to switch between high and low trigger levels. The only reason for 4 stars is that the screw terminals were a bit tight, requiring some careful adjustment.

Perfect for Arduino Projects
This relay module works flawlessly with my Arduino Uno. The optocoupler isolation gives me peace of mind when switching higher voltage loads. Setup was incredibly easy thanks to the clear labeling on the PCB.

Solid performance
Does what it says on the tin. The click sound is audible but not annoying. I wish it came with pre-soldered headers, but that's a minor inconvenience. Overall, a solid purchase for the price.
Q: What is the difference between High and Low level trigger?
A: In Low level trigger mode, the relay activates when the input pin is connected to Ground (LOW). In High level trigger mode, the relay activates when the input pin receives 5V (HIGH). You can select the mode using the onboard jumper cap.
Q: Can this module be powered directly from a 5V USB port?
A: Yes, the module operates at 5V DC and can typically be powered by a standard 5V USB source, provided the source can supply enough current for the relay coil activation (usually around 70-90mA).
Q: Can I connect multiple modules to one microcontroller?
A: Absolutely. As long as your microcontroller has enough GPIO pins and your power supply can handle the total current draw of all active relays, you can daisy-chain or connect multiple modules.
Q: Does this come with screws for the terminals?
A: The module usually comes with the screws already installed in the green terminal blocks. You just need a small Phillips head screwdriver to loosen or tighten them for your wires.
Q: Is this suitable for controlling a 120V AC lamp?
A: Yes, the relay contacts are rated for up to 250V AC at 10A, which is sufficient for most household lamps. Please ensure you follow all safety guidelines when working with mains electricity.
