Great for solar charge controller logging

Using this to log data from a small solar panel setup. The ability to measure up to 36V bus voltage is exactly what I needed. Data logging has been running for weeks without issues.

Solid performance

The sensor is accurate and the breakout board layout is logical. Make sure you use pull-up resistors on your I2C lines if your microcontroller doesn't have them built-in.

Good precision, easy to use

Setup was straightforward using the Adafruit library. The precision is impressive for such a small board. Only giving 4 stars because the soldering pads are a bit tiny for beginners.

A: The INA226 chip itself can measure high currents, but the limit depends on the shunt resistor. With the included 0.01 Ohm resistor, it is typically rated for up to 80A, provided adequate cooling and wiring are used.
