Perfect for Arduino projects
This module works exactly as described. The sensitivity adjustment pot makes it very easy to calibrate for specific tilt angles. I used it for a balance robot project and the response time is instant.

Easy to integrate

Good value, clear instructions needed
The sensor itself is high quality and the gold contacts look durable. It took me a moment to figure out the optimal potentiometer setting, but once tuned, it triggers reliably. Great for the price.

Exceeded expectations
Very sensitive and accurate. I use it to detect when a box has been moved. The adjustable threshold is a fantastic feature that many cheaper modules lack. Will buy again.

Reliable vibration detection
I bought five of these for a security alarm system prototype. They detect even slight vibrations consistently. The LEDs are bright enough to see status at a glance without being blinding.

Solid build quality
The PCB is well-made and the soldering points are clean. The only minor issue is that the mounting holes are slightly tight for M3 screws, but nothing a drill can't fix. Works great overall.
Q: Does this module provide an analog output signal?
A: No, the SW-520D provides a digital switch output (High/Low). It does not provide a variable analog voltage based on the angle.
Q: How do I adjust the sensitivity?
A: There is a blue potentiometer on the board. Rotate it clockwise to increase sensitivity (detect smaller tilts) or counter-clockwise to decrease it.
Q: What is the maximum current this sensor can handle?
A: This is a logic-level sensor module designed for signal detection, not for switching high-power loads. Please connect the output pin to a microcontroller or a relay driver circuit.
Q: Can I use this with a 3.3V Raspberry Pi?
A: Yes, the module operates within the 3.3V to 5V range, making it fully compatible with Raspberry Pi GPIO pins.
Q: Is the ball switch replaceable if it breaks?
A: The internal ball switch is soldered directly to the PCB. While technically replaceable with soldering skills, it is generally more cost-effective to replace the entire module.
