Perfect replacement for my shipping scale
My old handheld scale stopped working, and this sensor module was the exact fix needed. Installation was straightforward, and the readings are consistent up to the full 50kg limit. Great value for DIY repairs.

Good accuracy, minor wiring confusion
The sensor itself works great and seems very durable. I deducted one star because the color coding on the wires wasn't clearly documented in the box, but I figured it out with a multimeter. Works perfectly now.

Excellent for hobbyist projects
Bought this to build a smart garden scale. It pairs easily with standard HX711 amplifiers. The sensitivity is spot on, and the price point is unbeatable for this capacity.

Sturdy build quality
I use this for a custom project weighing heavy packages. The aluminum alloy body feels solid and handles rough handling well. No drift in measurements after two weeks of daily use.

Works but requires calibration
The unit functions as described, but it definitely needs careful calibration out of the box to get precise results. Once calibrated, it holds the weight well. Just be prepared to spend some time setting it up.
Q: Can this be used outdoors in the rain?
A: The sensor has an IP65 rating, which protects against dust and low-pressure water jets, making it suitable for covered outdoor use. However, we recommend avoiding direct submersion or prolonged exposure to heavy storms.
Q: What is the error margin at maximum load?
A: Under normal operating conditions, the non-linearity and hysteresis are typically within 0.05% of the full scale output.
Q: What is the recommended excitation voltage for best stability?
A: While the range is 5-12V, we recommend using a stable 10V DC supply for optimal performance and minimal thermal drift.
Q: Does it come with mounting screws?
A: No, mounting hardware is not included in the package. You will need to source M6 or M8 bolts depending on your specific platform design.
Q: Is this compatible with Arduino projects?
A: Yes, the CZL-U sensor is commonly used with Arduino boards when paired with an HX711 amplifier module.
