Good value for the weight
Received a large 500g block which will last a very long time. It required a bit of crushing before application, but the sound quality improved immediately.

Excellent quality for traditional instruments
This rosin has a wonderful natural pine scent and works perfectly on my Jinghu. The grip is consistent, and it produces a clear, bright tone without being too sticky.

Best rosin I have purchased
Compared to synthetic options, this natural rosin provides a much warmer tone. The 500g size is great for sharing with our local music ensemble.

Strong aroma and good grip
The pine smell is very strong when you first open the package, which indicates freshness. Works well on my Erhu as well. One star off because the packaging was slightly cracked, but the product inside was fine.

Authentic deep mountain product
You can tell this is genuine old rosin from the color and texture. It melts slightly with friction to provide excellent bow traction. Highly recommended for serious players.
Q: Is there any added chemical fragrance?
A: No, the scent comes entirely from the natural Masson pine resin. We do not add any artificial fragrances or chemicals during processing.
Q: How long does free shipping usually take?
A: Free standard shipping typically takes 3-7 business days within the mainland, depending on your location relative to our Guangxi warehouse.
Q: Is this rosin suitable for western violins or just Jinghu?
A: While optimized for Jinghu and traditional Chinese instruments, many customers also use it successfully on violins and erhus. However, it may be stickier than standard western violin rosin.
Q: Does the 500g come in one solid block?
A: Yes, it typically arrives as one large solid block or a few large chunks depending on transport conditions. You may need to break or crush it into smaller pieces for easy application.
Q: What is the shelf life of this raw rosin?
A: When stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, natural rosin can last for several years without losing its effectiveness.
