Excellent projection for the price

I bought this piccolo for marching band season and was pleasantly surprised by the volume and clarity. The silver-plated keys feel sturdy, and the ABS body holds up well against temperature changes outdoors.

Impressive tone quality

Beautiful finish and responsive

The imitation ebony look is very convincing and elegant. Intonation is surprisingly accurate across all registers. It responds quickly in the third octave, which is often a struggle with cheaper models.

Great student upgrade

Moved my daughter from a plastic school model to this one. The tone is much richer and more focused. The only reason for 4 stars is that it needed a slight adjustment out of the box, but nothing major.

Solid construction

As a woodwind repair tech, I inspected this closely before selling it to a student. The pad seating is excellent, and the screw mechanisms are tight. Very little regulation was needed. Highly recommended.

Good value concert piccolo
